Rattle/tick from panel surrounding heated seat buttons
I have a 2016 IS 300 F Sport, 5600 miles on the odometer. A week or so ago, I noticed a pretty loud rattle coming from somewhere in the center console, only on rough surfaces at lower speeds (20-30 MPH). It took me a week, but I found by pressing down on the plastic panel around the heated seat/steering wheel controls I could make it go away temporarily. I pressed a little harder and hear a "click", and I haven't heard the noise for a couple days now.
I'll see if it comes back, but I was curious if anyone had encountered this before.

Issue seemed to have subsided, but it came back this morning. Pressing on the plastic didn't make it go away this time, but it seemed to be coming from the same general area. I'll have to make yet another dealership trip and hope we can reproduce it - had no such luck with my other rattle (coming from door).

Have several creaks from the center console and passenger side dash area. Some worse when it's cold, some worse when it's hot. Most annoying is general plasticky creaks when coming to a sudden (but normal) stop. Love the car overall, but am TOTALLY frustrated with some of these noises. For these more recent ones I did take it to the dealer recently... 'no unusual noise heard'. It took me 4 trips to fix a prior door seal noise. Will have to take it back for this one. As I said... love the car, hate some of these noises.

I have had the same creaking issue, too, when braking. It seems to be only when the A/C is running hard for me (as in, it's a hot day and the car hasn't really cooled down yet). It's intermittent, so I wasn't planning to do anything about it.

Sounds like the same thing. It's either that it is a function of temperature and it goes away as the AC cools stuff down or that it's worse when the car sits, it is hot, and after things move around a little through normal flexing of the car that the sound goes away. But this particular creaking is worse when the car is hot and has been parked for a while.
