Bluetooth, ipod, radio doesn't work.
I have a 2014 is 350 f sport with 28k miles. My speakers just suddenly wouldn't play music anymore.
I haven't done anything to the speakers in the car. They're stock speakers, not the mark Livingston ones. In radio, Bluetooth and iPod sources the speakers would not play anything sound. I have not tried aux yet, but will do so tomorrow. The navigation, speech recognition, and trackball motion sounds still work. I can hear it loud and clear. This has led to my believe the amp is blown or something. Has anybody else had this experience? I would like to hear your comments and suggestions on the issue. I would also like to know whether this is covered under the 30k bumper to bumper warranty. I spoke to my local Lexus dealership's service adviser and she was very vague about the fees. There might be a diagnostic fee of 300$ and overnight storage fee of another 300$, and this is without the guarantee that I'm covered by warranty. |
Before doing anything that involves spending money, my first action would be to check any fuse related to the stereo.
I had had same thing happen in my Viper. Brand new on delivery day, had no music from speakers. Stereo fuse was blown. Replaced it and never had another issue |
