i had about 550miles on my 2 week old 2017 IS350 F Sport, i reset the MPG after each refill and i'm noticing it's only getting 18 mpg from the computer after each refill (however, the miles one tank lasted before i had to refill was about the same as my previous 2009 IS350). i know new car's MPG will improve over time, do any of you experienced similar MPG on your new IS350? my 2009 IS350 was getting 23 MPG regularly with the same mix driving environment and habit.

My car loves 18.2 mpg mixed.
Today was the first time in the year of owning the car which I actually tried for best possible mpg.
29.8mpg all highway, 75 mph. Results based on about 40 miles driven.

The 18.2 mixed is exactly what I’m getting in my 350. Best highway mileage is 24.9, 75 mph, but only 80 miles of driving for that result.

I have a 2017 IS350 F Sport and get on average about 10L/100km which is about 23.5mpg (US). This is a combination on city and highway at about 60/40 respectively. My 2015 IS350 Sport was giving me the exact same values

Best I ever managed on a single tank. 31 mpg covering 446.7 miles. Solely hwy driving.
I frequently average 16-17 mpg in the city though...

I think the variability for 90% of us will be in how we drive, and for those of us in cold climate, the ethanol mix reduces MPG by about 10% in the winter. Driving in ECO in a very hilly city, I get ~18.5 city and ~28 highway. When traveling in flat country, such as OH, eastern PA, or the east coast, MPG goes up to 21 city and 30 highway. There are no mods except for much taller tires (255/45/18 rear & 225/50/18 front), which reduces revolutions per mile.
When driven in S or S+, mpg will drop to ~15 city/20 highway (AWD F Sport). Essentially, I lose about a 1.5-2 gallons of gas per tank in fuel efficiency in S/S+ mode. Not to mention the wear and tear if I push it all the time. The math suggests that over the year, fuel loss to inefficiency may be about 2 tankfuls ( don't put a lot of miles on it).

2016 is 200t
Have an 2016 is 200t, and the best mpg i ever got was 38.2 on a 300 mile trip using pure gas and easy cruising (around 60-70 mph), I got over 500 miles on that tank of gas
. I usually average around 30 mpg, driving 90% eco and light on the pedal.

That is impressive - especially the average! I don't think we even break 30 on my wife's 330i... which has significantly better EPA ratings. I can't do Eco Mode though. That probably helps.
