Trunk won't open!
 

hey all, did a quick search but didn't find anything, sorry if it's been asked already
so, this morning I took my car to get new brake pads installed (2016 IS200t) and when I went to open the trunk to get the wheel lock, it wouldn't pop open. Tried the button inside the car, button on the key and the button on the trunk to no avail. Does anyone know if there's some sort of reset I could try or am I stuck making a visit to my local dealer for service?

I checked the button and it wasn't pressed in. I clicked it in and tried again just in case but nothin'

My G35 once had the same problem. Turns out the wiring to the trunk opener went bad. Could be wiring or the motor that controls the lock.
