Default Michelin PS A/S 3+ or Bridgestone Potenza RE970AS Pole Position?

Hi all,

In my quest to find the perfect balance between performance, noise and tread life, I narrowed down my choices to those 2 tires.
I'm wondering how they compare, and I'd like to get opinions if anyone has one of them.
Please note I have dedicated winter tires, so snow/ice performance isn't important. However I need them to handle well on cold pavement (it gets to freezing point during fall and spring without necessarily snowing)

Thoughts?
Thanks.

I've been very pleased with my Michelin A/S 3+.
After having Bridgestones as OEM tires on my last two cars and not liking them, I've steered clear of the brand.
