Default How much do you pay for auto insurance?

Wondering if I am paying too much for auto insurance.

Clean driving record for over 15 years

2014 IS250 F-Sport RWD 28k miles.
$770 for 6 months at GEICO
15k/30k bodily injury liability
$5k property damage
$500 deductive comprehensive and collision

No emergency road side assistance or rental reimbursement since L/Certified covers that

Wow, that's WAAAY to little of coverage (does that even meet minimum required?). Any accident will surely bankrupt you or at the least go to court to sieze assets. Get higher limits ASAP, and raise your deductible if need be.

I'm pretty much paying the same you are for a six month coverage at Geico.
The only difference is I have 300k/500k liability, 300k/500k bodily injury liability, and a $1000 deductible.
I also have one mark within the past 3 years.
You should definitely increase your coverage, as it is bare minimum. If you hit a Mercedes/Lexus/BMW, you will be paying out of pocket as these cars are minimum $50k.
Increase your deductible to balance out the cost of higher coverage. You need to protect yourself.
Focus on bodily injury liability as medical bills will out cost any vehicle by many factors.

Geico is the worst. Yeah, they are cheap, but if you get into an accident, they will ONLY pay for refurbished parts. Not OEM. Doesn't matter if it's 2 days old or 5 years old.

Yah I had to call insurance in order to drive the car out from the dealership on purchase day. Now I'm deciding what to increase and which company I should go with.

That's pretty cheap for $540 for 6 months assuming you got minimum full coverage and speeding tickets on a 3IS

Insurance is so subjective you can't compare what you pay to what someone else pays. There are so many factors in play.

case-in-point.. 49 year old male with clean record for over 30 years.

I pay less than your 6 month rate for 1 year on my RCF with 250K/500K/100K Liability, with $250 deductible on comp/collision, roadside and rental car coverage.

I have 4 vehicles and a house with CA earthquake and been insured with the same company for 30 years, my combo and loyalty discounts cannot be matched by any other company. My total cost for all the vehicles with same coverage and the house/earthquake is $256/month or $3072 a year. Minus out the house/earthquake that comes to $621 a year for each vehicle, however technically the breakdown isn't even, the RCF is the highest, and my motorcycle is the lowest.
