Do you know what the process is like? I'm lowered with aftermarket wheels, would that pose a problem in the claims/repairs process?

Did they find any evidence of rust, or did they just repair it anyway?

They repair anyways. Think of it as proactive protection.

Just out of curiosity, how long is the repair? Will you have to stay in the dealership, or will they give you a courtesy car while the repair is being done?

2016is350fsport awd.

Is the TSB posted online somewhere?
I was already at the dealership getting my navigation screen fixed when they told me about the tsb and fixed it at the same time. Then I got the letter in the mail 4 days later. You should just be able to call your service advisor and get it fixed.

I called yesterday and made my appt for next Wednesday. I was surprised when he told me that it would take 3-4 hours, I will be getting a loaner.

What was wrong with your NAV screen? Was it a warranty item?

Mine looks awful, like the AR coating is coming off.

This is actually not a TSB, but rather a recall (GLM). I would expect it will be launched in Canada as well, though I don't think it has yet.

As far as the carbon build up issue goes, Lexus Canada does and has had that extended warranty coverage in Canada for years (SPA 954, released Sept. 6, 2012). It is not USA-Only.
