You'd probably spend $350 for a Portercable setup. If you have the time and want to learn a new rewarding and relaxing skill, it would be a good investment.

If you are leasing, you probably won't be charged for ****ty paint, but you have to live with it the rest of your lease........ if you buy it out, you should be able to make out well with a decent residual value. Mine was a lease buyout off my cousin, it was a really good deal....

I would be cautious about the $100 place as they might not know WTF they are doing and burn through the clear coat....

$100 around here is average for an outside detail. Maybe $200. As mentioned in a previous thread $800 for paint correction at a reputable shop, so $100 isn't so far off.
