I'm surprised to have found these for our IS200 F-Sports...has anyone tried these or does anyone have any positive/negative experience with Brembo? Thinking of jumping on these for the price...

After a couple of weeks driving with the Akebono pads, I feel there is more bite than the OEMs.
You definitely will not be losing any stopping power, although it does take a few days of driving to break in.
Not sure about the Brembos, but for $52 it's not too much of a risk.

So, I'm going to order the Akebono's...I'm curious though, I took my car into the dealer today for the 10k service and I mentioned the brakes have been squeaking. They service advisor told me after they finished that I need new pads since I've already worn out the old ones. Now, I have no problem buying new pads, because I'm over the insanely dirty rims, but it's the first time I only get 10k miles out of a set of pads. Is this normal? just wondering what you all have experienced...
Thanks!

I just rolled over 12k last week and my stock brakes were fine. They were squeeking a tad bit though. I also am in traffic quite a bit too so they get used.

My stock OEMs had about 70% meat left when I took them out at 11k miles.

Any long term review of the akebono pads? Any fades or time or squeacking? And how many mile you get out of them?

Anyone notice these pads making a very loud squeak in the mornings or after the cars been parked for a few hours?
