I bet your Merc feels zippier around town than your RC given its turbo. In an all out race, the RC would probably kill it on the track though given its higher potential and much better suspension but who drives a Lexus that way I bet the interior completely blows away the RC though. They have really stepped it up in that area.

Congratulations and enjoy your new ride. I'll look forward to hearing how you like the C300 over time. I'm still struggling to appreciate the exterior design of those but the interiors are quite nice. A coworker of mine has one and loves it.

Thank you so much. I agree that the exterior on the Lexus vehicle is way more sporty looking then the Mercedes C 300 but I actually really am starting to appreciate the lines on the car after I had it professionally detailed yesterday. I have the sport suspension and sports styling on it. And the interior is far superior in workmanship and quality of build. it has far more amenities than my Lexus ever had and I'm not looking to race down the highway at 500 miles an hour so i'm not worried about performance on the highway. I live in Los Angeles and I work in downtown LA most of my drive is stop and go traffic. what I do like to do is drive the canyons from the San Fernando Valley into the Beverly Hills, Westwood area and that's where I think the handling in the sports plus suspension mode on the Mercedes will be far superior then the Lexus, and the 19 inch rims I have will help

Problem I had with looking at the 2017 IS 350 was that I was going to be giving up a lot of features that my RC has that the IS doesn't have. I really struggled with that and the fact that I have had the car for ten years and I was getting kind of bored of it.

now I have to learn a whole new kind a navigation system that is far more I think sophisticated than on my Lexus.

My wife and I go back and forth between MB and Lexus. I can honestly say we both prefer the MB when new. We keep our cars about 10 years, super low mileage (2,000 miles per year!). The problem always shows up at about 5 years old then the cost to maintain the MBs kills us. Not the case with the Lexus. So we love driving the MBs, but we love long term ownership with the Lexus.

Hi- yes I agree with you. That's why I only leased it for 3 years. Paid for 2 years of maintenance in my lease agreement and then got the general sales manager of the dealership to throw in the 3rd year of maintenance. Deal I was quoted only included 2 years. Then the general manager agreed to throw in the 3rd year at no additional cost to me.
