Default Possible ISF being introduced today?

Not sure how many users on here follow Lexus on Facebook but they've now made 2 suggestive posts of an unveiling of a new vehicle variant on November 16th. It appears to be the interior of an IS with green stitching. Could it be a new IS-F? Any ideas?

Time to turn in the 200t...

On a more serious note, I'm really hoping it is despite knowing I won't be getting one any time soon. I just hope the green stitching doesn't stay.

I'm not an expert nor do I have any inside information on this topic but I believe that the green may be an indication of a turbocharged F vehicle kind of like the blue is for the v8? If this does turn out to be a new ISF I would find it very non-innovative to put the same v8 into it as both the RC-F and GS-F. Unless this whole thing turns out to be something completely unrelated, who knows!

Hmmm I never thought about an electric variant, that does seem like a possibility although it appears this is an IS interior and I don't think Lexus would introduce such a big progression in the shape of a pre-existing vehicle. I feel like they would create an entirely new vehicle to showcase that technology.

ISF V8? Very interesting. Why would lexus give up on the v8 for the 3IS F then have the v8 back?

Yeah the green stitching has got me thinking of an ECO or green friendly option.

Full electric maybe. Trying to start chipping away at Tesla's market share.

Could also be an F model. Electric cars are capable
of crazy acceleration too.

How about a hybrid mix like the new NSX.

The latest teaser pic from Lexus shows the standard exhaust tip found on the 2017 3IS instead of a quad exhaust set-up like the RC-F or GS-F. This leads me to believe that this isn't the V8 IS-F that we're hoping for.

I was hoping this was a satirical post from TheOnion or something similar. Wow, nothing more to be said.

Yup, it's no wonder why performance car enthusiasts from other brands have a hard time taking Lexus seriously.

This is how I envision the Lexus boardroom meeting that brainstormed this idea:
