it's more than just washing and claying. need a good compound and polish as well. Set aside at least 10 hours for the whole process if this is your first time. or just pay someone to do it for you

If your car is new, then just clay and apply. If you have swirls, clay then polish then apply the coat. The cost takes about an hour or two but very easy. You have to be careful and do it in GOOD lighting to see high spots.

A good detailer will charge about $400 for the whole process.

You get swirls and you wash with the two bucket method? Do you allow the dealer to wash your car? Polish and coat the car like the others said!

I let the dealer wash it ONCE at my 5K. Big mistake.

oh boy!! dealer washing your car... you mean return your to car to you with a bunch of scratches and swirls!!! i'll pass!!!

I see a lot of you guys in CA. Any recommendations for a pro in NorCal? Bay Area preferably.
