Default Anyone know the part numbers for the 2 left under-panels?

Mine is an IS250 2014.

I just got the car 3 weeks ago, somehow while my daughter was driving a piece of metal got thrown up and into the left under-panels.

At first I just saw the pics she took and it looked like a piece of the car was hanging down so we took it to the dealer. Thats when he removed the metal piece that got lodged up there. Must be some truck part because it is stamped Bendix on the metal.

The invoice didn't give the actual 2 part numbers just lists them as left underpants, $689. Looks like a pretty easy to replace them but I need to know the part #'s.

Thanks for reading.

As I always suggest, double check with your dealer using your VIN number, as parts can sometimes be very detailed and confusing to navigate.
I guess it could be that part. I'm not too great at determining a part from the diagrams.

Heres a pic from under the car. You can see where the metal piece lodged in. For some reason the pics show upside down.

Either way, to be sure and take the guess work out of it, confirm with your dealer's parts department, that's what they're there for, right?
Thanks Patrix,

I will double check but I'm pretty sure thats it.

Just curious here...but is it standard practice for the Lexus dealer to not give out part numbers of what they want to fix?

They called and left a message that they would give me a discount if I got the under-panel replaced by them. Spoke to 2 separate people and both said they were unable to give me the specific part numbers they would be replacing.

Is this standard policy or just this dealer specifically?

Drop the panel down, and look it over carefully. Most plastic panels Toyota stamps them with the part number in the mold of the part so it possibly those will have it as well.

Honestly looking over the pictures again. I would just drop the cover down completely and put a heatgun to it to reform it back into shape as close to original.
I do not see any tears in the plastic so why replace it?

Thanks. It's the first time I've gone to this dealer, Lexus of Edison, and they did nothing at all to impress me. In the past I've always been treated right at Lexus of Bridgewater but that one was closer. Live and learn I guess.

Interesting idea. I'm gonna take the panel off to see if it has the part number stamped, maybe I'll try and straighten it out at the same time.
