And RCF is direct competitor or M4 and RS4. Not 340 or S4. And yes, IS350 is more of ATS non V, S3, and CLA45 competitor.
RCF is priced like the 340 and S4 right now though which makes it a FANTASTIC deal. Too bad i need 4 doors...not gonna do the coupe thing with kids again. IS350 is smaller than the 3 series, A4 and the Q50 but its noticeably bigger than the S3 and CLA45. Its kinda a tweener size along with the ATS...too bad the 3 series and Q50 got so damn large.

???? the 328i is shorter than the is350 and weighs about 360 lbs less, so i am not sure where your facts are coming from

i am interested in others' opinions, so please elaborate why you think it is better than each of these:

1. Jaguar XE 35t
2. Audi A4 Quattro
3. Audi S3
4. ATS 3.6
5. 328i
6. 340i (is this allowed in this class?)
7. Q50s RS 400 (is this allowed in this class?)
8. S60 R Design

thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences

Curb weight of 328 is 3480. The IS350 is 3600. Hardly 360 lbs. You are right in that they are about an inch apart but the F30 feels bigger. Maybe the numb steering makes it feel bigger than it is.

The Jag, 340, Q50 RS are all more than $50k. The ATS handles great but the interior is just horrible and the reliability ain't so great. Plus I hate that tranny. The 328 is the closest comp but the IS350 handles better, more reliable and a little quicker. The IS is a little cheaper comparatively equipped. Sorry, never driven the S60 but I think the s60 is bigger than the IS. Don't know about the price though.

The A4 has never handles as well as the IS and the S3 is better but not in the same class. Waaay smaller. I hope this helps. Of course these are opinions so if you don't agree, we can discuss

you are factually wrong about several items, starting with the curb weight of the is350 as stated on the manufacturer's own website. not certain how you arrived at your conclusion that the is350 is the best in its class when you know so little about the other cars it is up against or even which ones are considered to be within the same class. so no, this was of no help at all.

You do know the stated weight of the is350 RWD on the website at 3700 lbs is the AWD version. Yes the Lexus website is wrong and that is well known on this website.

Tell me where I am factually wrong in my other assessments. You offer no counterpoint so you're just a troll to me.

Acura makes excellent looking vehicles but FWD is no bueno. The 4 seater RWD sports sedan is hanging on by a thread in this industry. I mostly wish we would get the wagon models that Europe gets instead of the copy cat SUV's that keep popping up.
