Default Getting the BMW

so my brothers girlfriend had this 2015 BMW 335i xDrive since december 2014 before we met her, she used to work for a BMW dealership nearby where we live, so she leased this car under an employee lease. turns out, she has been a Subaru girl her whole life, so my brother got her a 2012 WRX. she now puts her BMW for sale at my dads dealership, so now looking at the car, i knew it was a sign to go with BMW, since i was debating before. i will have this car until december of 2017, then deciding wether to get an IS at that point. from right now, i don't really know what i want at that time yet, but now that i have a beautiful car, i don't need to worry about it yet. i will always be lurking around these forums, as you can see my entire family drives lexus cars. I'm glad that i can stand out with a BMW though

Don't you have like another year before you can even get your permit...? Why get a car now?

Congrats! Nice BMW. Purchasing or taking over remainder of the lease?

Wow, have times changed… When I was 16 I purchased my first nine-year-old car for $4,000 and thought I was Big Time! We obviously come from different worlds.

Congrats on the Beamer.

update on the car, we can't get the car anymore because the car was off of an employee lease which means it can't be transferred to our name or even have the insurance under our name.

I feel bad for the girl going from a '15 335i to a '12 WRX.

Im assuming your father wont purchase that vehicle off lease for the dealership because it is too upside down in value.

Congrats on the Beamer.
I grew up in Ireland, and I remember my American cousin (six months older than me) getting an old Firebird when he was 16. We were amazed that someone that young could have a car.

When I was in college (mid-'80s), we had two guys in our class with cars. One was a guy who inherited a Ford Fiesta on its last legs, and the other was an African exchange student whose father bought him a car. Everyone else walked or cycled.

no she actually wanted the 2012 WRX she likes it way more than the BMW. she's probably going to have to take the car back because it's been on the lot too long. her and my brother both like to drive a stick. and my dad won't purchase it because he let me won't drive anything other than a toyota or lexus. that's why my mom said she would do it but since it's on an employee lease, we are screwed.
