Humming noise under my car while turned off!
Ok,this is a first for me.Came in last night after my 140 mile commute, and pulled into my garage and turned off my car('16 IS350F).This morning(approx. 10 hrs.later) I went into the garage and heard a humming noise.I thought it was the refrigerator, but as I walked around the back of the car,it was obvious the noise was originating from the right rear.It sounded(to me) just like the fuel pump running, but that made no sense as it isn't on the "hot" battery bus...ie: it doesn't run until the accessory power is provided (sorry...I'm a pilot, and that's the only way I can describe it).I got in the car and cranked it....let it run for a couple of minutes and shut it down and the humming stopped.Anyone had this happen before?? My worry is that I come back from a trip and the battery has depleted itself powering whatever it is that's humming... Any guesses??

RTFM...
I wondered the same thing when my wife told me the car was making a weird noise. I told her that's the excess sexy burning off.
