Nah, if I didn't disconnect my 2014 IS350 for a month while I was away then you should be fine. She started right up when I came back.

Depends on the year but it seems there are not too many reportable issues with the 2015. If it was a 2014 I would disconnect it.. We didn't drive our IS350 F sport for 4 days and it was as dead as dead could be. My wife started up our 17 year old AcuraTL with 190,000 miles on it that had been sitting 2 weeks, no issues. This has happened at least 10 times in 2 years (sometimes only 2 days without driving) and Lexus has no answers for us. Was thinking of getting a lawyer but they would charge me a small fortune . We are getting rid of the piece of $h!! as soon as we can afford to buy something else (the car is all paid off).

if anyone has any realistic suggestions let let me know.

I see people getting their ECU replaced and it solved the problem.

Thanks for the input. We had the ECU replaced about 1 month ago. Yesterday they replaced the battery; the saga continues regarding dead battery issues.

Battery tender with quick disconnect cable?

Agreed it should not happen and understand the frustration. I assume they've checked the alternator diode? And ruled out parasitic drain from aftermarket accessories? And used the fuse pull test to measure excessive parasitic drain from other sources?

I left my 2014 IS 350 in the garage for 3 weeks no problem. So not all 2014's have the battery drain issue.

I parked my IS for the whole winter and started it up at least 6 months later in 1 shot with no hesitation, so don't worry

For piece of mind you can get a battery tender like sdiver68 mentioned.
