Can you also provide the pages with the connector plug pinout numbering?

OK here's my contribution.
Looks slightly different than one you provided.
I'll study it more when I have a sit down time

My Quick assessment , What we are looking for is a 3 wire plug for the rain sensor. Main wire necessary is the mpx wire and if it the plug doesn't exist we can just run it ourselves to any of the mpx network wires in the car to get it working

@Edwin8484 let me know what you come up with if you discover anything before me

the real question is, how bad do your new foglight blind everyone that is in front of your car?

Thank you specOne and PatrixUSA. I will start investigating about this in a couple of weeks once I'm done with finals.

so... foglights are plug and play with the stalk.... that means that there should be wiring there and available that supplies power, and we can use those wires to hook up for an aftermarket switch... right?

Foglights are not meant to blind people. The ones I have and the JDM Foglights are adjustable (up and Down) so that makes it up to me or the installer to make sure the lights are not blinding to others. Even if the light output is intense. Unfortunately that light output of the Foglights I bought are very not strong enough to my liking

Yes, when you add the new stalk make sure that you see 3 wires going into the black female harness on prungs 9-11. I think wires are colored white, white/black and pink.
The wires for the Foglights should be tucked inside the bumper area close to where the Foglights are suppose to go. The color of the harbes is black and the inside looks green. Look at my pictures and follow that. I hope all of our cars come prewired the same.

Edwin, how are you liking your eBay fog lights so far? How is the fitment of the fog shrouds? And how well do they match the headlights?

For the Rain sensor retrofit we are investigating into,

something i just thought of, One thing to be concern about with the Rain sensor is that the placement on the windshield, on cars with this options its typically a portion of the dot matrix near the rear view mirror that is clear and the sensor is stuck onto the wind shield to view clearly through without obstruction.

On our Fsport windshield, it is all dot matrix around the mirror area. We can obviously mounted off to the side not in a stock location but it will not look as good.

if i were to use an aftermarket switch (where the blank dead switches are) could i wire it through there?

Did some research and I believe these are the part numbers for the stalk

8465230690 - Wiper switch w/ rain sensing
8465230681 - Wiper switch w/o rain sensing
8414030360 - Headlight switch w/ fog light
8414030420 - Headlight switch w/o fog light

Parts actually share with GS

I was assuming that it would be shared with GS and RC as well.
There are probably a lot of parts that are interchangeable between GS and IS

It's off the topic but it will be nice if we can get auto high beam working on the F-sport =]

What sensor is it using?
