Seats Hurting my Back in IS 2014 Sport
I just inherited a 2014 Lexus IS 250 Sport. This car has the sport bucket seats and the driver seat is killing my back and creating sciatica down my leg. I've played with all the adjustments and nothing seems to work. Has anyone ran into this, and can anyone offer solutions. Do some kind of cushions work, can you replace or modify the seat? Any advise would be great. Thanks.

"IS500" should help though. F sport and F has become so misinterpreted. It's really bad for the progress of the F performance heritage. I've had a few friends say they "got an F" and then wondered why theirs isn't providing as much of an adrenaline rush as mine. Even salespeople say that the F sport is the F. And with so many 2IS body kits looking to mimic the F both from and rear bumpers, it's going to get more difficult unless you "pop the hood".
But to the OP, you're still new. There is a 3rd generation IS subforum that will be able to assist you. My advise would be to not re-upholster the seat. I have seen those curved seat adjustments for the back, and they do work at times. I would opt for a small memory foam for the bottom. Brookstone is where I purchased mine, and it has helped me with my back pain when driving. Best of luck!

Driver Seat Hurting my Back
I jot inherited 2014 IS 250 Sport with the bucket seats. I've tried all the adjustments, but the seat causes sciatica down my leg and back pain. Has anyone experienced this and have any solutions? Would cushions work? Can the seat be changed out or changed? If so, who could do that? Any advise would be great. I love the car, but It literally is a pain to drive.

There was a thread about all this a month or so back.. A lot of us on here have similar sciatica problems and I've found adjusting the lower part of the seat so my knees are more bent really helped..
These seats do adjust in just about every way imaginable so your going to have to play with them to find a suitable position. Worse case, if you can't, maybe this car just isn't for you.
