Anyone have any insight on when we will see these reach the dealerships? Everything's says fall but that's pretty vague.

 

I personally love the 16 over this new model, of course it's refreshed with fancy stuff but it's not enough to sell me. The back lights are weird and don't even flow with the back, the current ones are still killing it IMO. Bigger screen? Just install one later.

 

And my dealer told me towards the end of November they will probably start coming in. As they try to clear inventory cause he's gonna try to get me a 350 before they all sell out. I dont want a 2017 model.

 

Get USB 2.0!! You won't regret it. I promise

 

I don't really like the rear lights? I mean the front looks good. I wonder if that's the final product. And they should of updated the F Sport rims.

 

I haven't locked in on what color yet but I know I want the Rioja red interior. I am waiting for the 2017.
I love the USB 2.0 but don't know what I think about it with the Red. I know it's a rare color combination but not sure if I want a superman car.
Not sure if the new nightfall will go well with red. I'm leaning towards a gray, silver, or black. Maybe the new caviar.

 

You can never go wrong with Nebula Grey/Roja red! I love that combo...it was a close second for sure!

 

Personally, I don't think you could go wrong with either. The 17' refresh looks really good. but the 14-16 model is still awesome.

 

i call BS on the raised hood. It looks the same, but who knows. Also, I was excited about the new bumper, but your pics have me 2nd guessing that. I think the new top grill is too small compared to 14-16. It looks really pinched since they shaved off about an inch or so on each side.

Love be that the F-Sport gets a dark surround and lux gets chrome. Very fitting.

 

Shift **** was probably stolen from an attendee. I've been to a few consumer auto shows and when I worked closely with Nissan (Detroit Motor Show), they told me that the ***** get stolen all the time from the show floor. Sometimes, even if it went missing in a previous show, they don't even bother to put a replacement on during the first day of a new show because it will get stolen again.

 

Hope the US/CAN doesn't get shafted here because of DOT rules. Supposedly the RX had cool tail turn signal LEDs that were not compliant so they got nixed in US, ending with standard incandescent bulbs! The LEDs were sequential (1-2-3) like Mustangs, but each LED (blink) didn't meet the minimum size spec, unlike the Mustang's where each one was large enough by itself.

 

Seems like people don't like the new LED tail lights. I think it's cool that new tail lights match the daytime running lights. I was driving behind a BMW X5 today, realized that bmw also has L shaped tail lights. Maybe this is lexus' attempt to be unique?

 

as much as I love blue, I really couldn't drive in that it's too bright I kinda like to be stealth you know hahha

 

The RX does have the LED turn signals in the US. I saw it on the show floor at the local Lexus dealership recently.

I am not sure for Canada since I have not been to a Canadian dealership in a while to look at a RX specifically.

 

Interesting. Here's the article I read about it (albeit its Jalopnik lol)...so either the journalist/Lexus rep were misinformed, Lexus has got them lights approved or they are just LEDs without motion? I haven't seen a RX here w/ the turn signal on...Regardless, the LEDs look awesome in motion:
