Default ARK Grip Full Exhaust Owners...

I have heard countless reviews of the sound of this exhaust system, which I think it sounds great, but I'm curious if anyone can talk about the performance gains. I understand it adds roughly 10 horsepower to the wheels. My question is can you feel the improved performance? If so, how noticeable is the power gain?

Thanks!

A 10 hp difference is really to small to feel in my opinion, I have driven many cars in the 300-330 hp range and they all feel the same.

So do you personally own the ARK exhaust on an IS350?

Well, I will say that in my mind my car felt more fun and responsive once I installed it - but it's really just due to the added sound, not anything actually performance wise.

He's right though. At ~255 to ~265, it's not going to feel like a 100 wet shot.

For reference, I do have the Ark system.

I have the Ark Exhaust for the AWD model. Had it for awhile now and I still love it. But you don't really feel any power gain since its so minimal

You will feel a difference in your mid to high range. It's not going to be like throwing a forced induction system on it but it's definitely different from stock.

You will "hear" a difference, you will not "feel" a difference of 3.2% increase anywhere. Heck, with driveshaft loss ratios, that is even lower in actuality.

You need 10% or more to actually "feel" something, otherwise its your butt dyno/placebo effect and nothing else.

^^ What he said, you will hear a difference and the dyno chart will show a difference, yet you may not really feel it. Or you may!

Either way, for the price I sell them at, I think you should get one..

That is a matter of opinion to whether or not you "feel" a difference. You can not legitimately say that someone will not feel any difference in their entire power band from putting a catback exhaust system on. People that really in-tune with their cars, know how it performs even with the slightest changes.
