Has anyone replaced the front windshield at dealer? I want the original glass from Lexus. Just wondering what the process, not sure if the dealer will file a claim with my insurance?

 

I had safe-lite replaced several windshield for me in the pass and they were all oem you just need to make the request for it. They're doing another replacement for me next week

 

They actually carry glass with Lexus logo on bottom? I'll check them out.

 

Not sure how the process works at the dealership but I called my insurance for the windshield claim. They connected me with 3rd party (I requested for Safelite Auto Glass). I had to request for them to order OEM - they called insurance to see if they would cover because I told them I did not want to pay for it. My insurance approved and they ordered the OEM with Lexus logo. Safelite has worked on my Lex two times. They did good work.
