Default Swapping from RSR downs to half downs

Im running 20s have spc rear camber arms and still rub like crazy in front and rear. Im thinking of switching to half downs. Still want to be slighlty lower but bot have to worry about rubbing. I also kinda rub when i go over a speed bump towards the middle of the car. It all got worse after i got a W7 subwoofer. What are your thoughts.

your issue is most likely your wheel specs (width and offset) and not so much the springs. the springs are probably a contributing factor as well, however, with the correct wheel specs, super downs (and even coils) should not rub

its not your springs, its your wheels. you have to get the right specs...offset and such. i ran 19x10.5 +45(REAR) 19x9.5+40(FRNT) on RSR downs with no issues. but i switched to half downs, cuz the downs were a little rough for my liking.

all depends where you're rubbing. If you're rubbing due to low offset issues, then it's an offset issue (duh). If you're rubbing the inner fender well due to having large diameter wheels, soft springs and extra weight in the car, then yes, I would assume a less aggressive drop would help.

Im running vossen vle1s i think the specs are 20x9 +32 w/ 225/30/20
20x10.5 +45 w/ 245/30/20 it was rubbing like crazy before the rear camber arms less now. I have fenders rolled front and rear. Fronts i kinda damaged left front fender paint cracked and peeling from rubbing i touched up looks better on back you cant even stick your finger by where the back bumper and fender meet i think thats whats damaged the rear rims it has to be rubbing hard there.

on a 10.5+45 rear, you'd need to REALLY stretch your tires to make it not rub. like 235 max

I don't know much about suspension but you could also try the F sport springs if you're set on changing them

you just need to go full ricer/hellaflush and just do max neg camber + stretched tire, or you need to go with a set of wheels that has a more conservative offset.

bottom line:
you can be slammed to the ground and not rub. the issues at hand are:
1. aggressive wheel specs
2. your current camber setting is not allowing tire to clear fender. you need MORE negative camber to have the wheels clear. this will affect your tire life.
3. mods are going to take a little more than just set it and forget it
