Default ISF pulled up next to me at the light this morning.

Dude took off and man, it sounded soooo good. If it had AWD I would be all over a 11-12 model in a heart beat. Thinking about doing it anyway 350 f sport is nice but that sound and power would probably make me forget really quick.

That is all.

The sound and power will make you forget, but the fuel consumption will remind you.
Additionally, the 2is looks outdated now in my opinion.

Very true. The model is out dated looking and was really never better looking then a second gen 350. The RCF on the other hand......

A third-gen IS-F would've been great.

Yes it would. I might be able to afford a 14 at this point. I couldn't stretch a brand new one that came out now most likely. They need to make an IS450.

There's a distinct look and characterizes to the IS-F that set it apart and give it a timeless look still. The car gives me a nice grin every time I drive it, not to mention you don't see them very often like you would a 250/350 IS...which are pretty much everywhere.

I test drove an ultra clean ISF that was at the dealership on consignment just after I got out of the test drive for my now IS350 AWD. Initial thoughts...the ISF interior seemed ancient after being in the new IS. The ISF sound was obviously intoxicating. Lastly I would be dead right now if I had purchased the ISF. It was constantly daring me to drive like a maniac. The new IS felt much more stable in the twisty sections.

If I were to do it all over again...

I'd get the ISF and swap the front end with a 3IS

I really think the 3IS front end fits more for the 2IS...

Still love my car though.

If the ISF had a better interior I would probably be rolling in one of those.
