Default No Lexus dealership close, suggestions to oil change?

I live in central Oregon and there are only two Lexus dealerships. One in Eugene, one in Portland.

If I cannot drive to either, what is your suggestion?0

I can't seem to find the filter.

Buddy of mine has a BMW and has a suction device to pull the old oil out.

Wondering if this would be better.

Make sure you change your filter as you can cause problems to the motor. The filter is located on the bottom above the plastic cover near the front of the vehicle there should be either 1 or 3 10mm bolts to take off and it's right above the little cover. This is not a regular metal housing filter what you're going to replace is just a synthetic filter itself and O-ring around the housing. This is not a regular metal housing filter what you're going to replace is just a synthetic filter itself and O-ring around the housing. Make sure you use fresh oil around the new ordering and the housing so you don't damage the O-ring. You have to twist off the aluminum oil filter cover counterclockwise to get it off.

This is what you need to look for.

You can do it yourself or just take it to a local shop. In terms of oil Mobil One is pretty standard

Go to Toyota. Best alternative I have used on my cars over the years.

I go to Mitchem Tire but have a long-time friend who works there. $16 and I bring my own oil/filter.

I don't let anyone touch my cars. I've noticed that when I started working on my cars I have never had any problem with any of them. No paid mechanic is going to take the time to make sure everything is adjusted perfectly like you would.

If changing oil yourself. Make sure you drain motor oil by the oil filter. And not the transmission oil. That's in middle of the car.

If DIY, do not forget to coat the oil filter gasket with a light coat of (a little on your finger) some fresh oil before installing. That will ensure a snug seal.

+1 on the Toyota dealership. If you are trying to stay within a dealership's (Lexus) point of view, you can do Toyota. Otherwise, most, if not all, Lexus dealership are willing to drive out to your location to pick up the car (drive it to their service center) and bring it back. I've experienced this in two different states (Texas and Iowa).

Hope this helps too.
