this topic has been beaten to death.

you should treat your car right and use the required specs

Well the manual states 91 is required but you can get away with cheaper grades if needed.

I put 91 because I don't want to risk damaging the engine and losing my warranty over a few cents a litre. But hey, maybe that's just me. A $7000 engine seems to be worth it.

Been filling regular in many mercedes that I've owned for years. Absolutely no problems. Cant make sense to why a 250 needs premium.

The rule of thumb: if you're leasing use regular, if you own it use premium.

This is why I am always reluctant to buy a used car, I'm sorry a "pre-owned" car.

exactly. if people can't afford a lexus all aspects considered, then they shouldn't be leasing them. it's a super selfish decision to lease something one can't afford knowing full well that that vehicle is going to likely wind up on a dealership's lot being sold to someone as a CPO car that may or may not have a host of problems due to negligence of the prior lessee.

I can afford it, I just don't give a ****.

If the car isn't going to blow up what does it matter?

Just trying to make sure how big of a deal it is to not use premium fuel. No reason to get upset . .

also, search for similar topics because this really has been beaten to death and the consensus always is treat the car right and use the required specs. you'll find sound rationale within said threads, but if you are doubtful still, call any lexus dealer and ask to speak to a service consultant.
