Foot positioning on the gas pedal

Has anyone else experienced this? Im a shoe size 10 and when my foot is in some positions over the gas pedal I can feel my toes bump up against something hard. Upon further investigations it seems this is the metal hanger which the gas pedal sits on. I'm not sure anything can fix this issue but Im certainly considering replacing the pedals.

do you stomp the pedal? or just use your toes to push it?
Video?

I dont do either...my heel is on the mat and the gas pedal is in the center of my foot...when I push down the top of my shoe hits the hanger. Its a weird problem to have, never had this happen on any other car I've driven.

Possible for you to take a picture of the hanger where your foot hits it? We could then see if everything is as it should be, or if something is out of place.

After reading your post, I paid more attention to mine. I'm a 10.5 shoe and could slide my foot well up the face of the pedal without bumping into anything.

maybe change your seat position? scoot back a bit? how tall are you

I'm a size 11.5, and I have no issue with the pedal...
Adjust your seat to a comfortable position, and just make sure the tip of your shoes doesn't touch the hanger....

Your whole foot does not have to be on the pedal to be comfortable

i was just in my car.. i think it's cause you place the back end of your foot at the back end of the pedal.. when i did that, my toe hits something too as i try to step on it

i usually keep the back half of my foot on the floor haha, but yeah everyone's used to their own way

Out of curiosity, what other cars do you drive?
Lexus interiors are more snug compared to other cars I driven (BMW/Audi/Porsche/Benz/Toyota/ and various rental cars)
Easily way to solve the issue is to move your seat back?
