Default ErinPark Lexus Remodeling Party last night

Just wondering if anyone from here attended?

The food was great, lots of booze...

And they had an LFA on display.. Pretty sure they borrowed it from the customer for the night...

Yep was there! Erin Park Lexus events are great as always. One of the great perks being one of their customers.

The LFA's is the owner's cousin's and stores it every year in the showroom for winter.

Even the head of Lexus Sales Canada Cyril Dimitris was there.

Yeah they certainly know how to keep the customers coming back!

I parked on the street only to realize they had valet parking too.. Talk about service..

What time were you there? I didn't get there until 7:30ish...

Did you attend their brunch a few weeks ago too?

Ah you just missed the big speech and presentation. I was there with my wife and two kids until about 8PM. Yes, was at their yearly Guest Appreciation Sunday Brunch last October and also attended their last #FSportSunday event three weeks ago.

Guys, I bought my car from erin park lexus but I only service it at Northwest Lexus. Are you aware they charge you more for oil changes and your basic maintenance? They are a bunch of crooks, I'm sure they can afford to throw a party like that with all the extra money they get off of your service.

Don't believe me, phone both of them and ask how much an oil change is for your 350. My mother told me this and I verified it. She gets her RX350 serviced at Northwest Lexus too, and they actually keep cans of pop, a clean washroom and a few extra things in the waiting area that EP doesn't.

My mother bought her car in Chicago, IL. That place is the true definition of service while you are waiting. If I remember correctly, isn't EP one of the biggest in Canada too? Shame. Anyways, I've bashed them enough, you get my point.

I have no bias here. I had great service from the sales rep but you can imagine I was pissed when I found out about how much cheaper and better other dealerships are. I wish a fine saleman/saleslady got my sale at Northwest.

If I remember correctly, (was a while back, my cars a 2014) it was roughly $290 + tax at EP for that maintenance service (at about 16k km?) while it was about $219 + tax at NW. If you really want, I can check for my receipts.

I am curious how much you paid for your 8k (first oil change) service there? Mine is nearly due, and I think they want $110 + tax for it..

The first 'service' at 1600km is not an oil change..

It is only a quick once over of the car to modify any settings and to make sure everything is okay with the car..

Cav 86, 16k km = 16,000 km, obviously at 1600 km your not paying $290 for something. This service is already the third I believe.

I'll have to check my receipts at home, but you can also call both to verify. I did this roughly in November/December of 2014. My mother has been going to Northwest since 2012.

I did go for the first free service to Erin Park. When I mentioned it to my mother, she immediately told me about this price difference which I later verified and never gone back since. I live a bit closer to EP, and I'm not cheap by any means but based on principal, I will not go somewhere that intentionally charges me more. That's a big FU and slap in the face way for thanking you for your business.

I'm going to take a guess and say EP oil change 110 + tax and NW 89 + tax?

My 1600 km service and 8k oil change are free. I bought my car and get it serviced at Ken Shaw.

Pasted from my credit card statement:

July 15, 2015 July 16, 2015 NORTHWEST LEXUS BRAMPTON, ON $101.69

This means it was $89.99 + tax.

Maybe someone who got their oil change at Erin Park can verify, but unless they changed their prices, they rip you big time. I have zero incentive to make this up, I don't even know anyone at Northwest nor did I even buy my car from them. Since buying my car, I've been extremely inactive on these forums, but going through some threads the other day, I saw this and wanted to warn who I can as an FYI. Plus, who wouldn't mind an extra $25 in their pocket?

I'd rather drive up to NW during rush hour, in Brampton traffic with crappy drivers on the 410, than going 4 exits on the 403 and getting to EP. I get to NW and they treat me really good and are very professional.

I got the same, I believe this is standard. Although they tell you its 2 services, its really only 1 oil change you get out of it.

Side note: my mother got 6 free services with her RX350 in Chicago, IL. And this didn't include a 1000 mile BS service or anything. Real services.

Since I am close to needing my 8k service, I decided to take your advice.. I called Ken Shaw, and sure enough it is cheaper. Not a whole lot, but it is.. They are closer to me too.. I only went to ErinPark since they gave me the lowest price on the car and they were close to my work which made picking up the car easier..

Anyway, I should mention too, that ErinPark gave me a sheet with my first service 1600km that lists their prices for all the scheduled services..

I'll see how it goes... I might have to throw them a bone once and a while to stay on their mailing list for these awesome parties though!
