I bought the new 6s plus and obviously with it I have 9.0.1. Every time i get into my car, the system switches over to phone mode and automatically makes an outbound call (to no one) but there is no call going on with my phone. The only way to kill the session is to click "switch to handset" and then it disconnects and goes back to the radio.

Anyone experience this yet?

Try to hold the center button to get Siri and then deactivate/dismiss it by pressing the center button one more time.

Siri was connected through car's microphone using Bluetooth. Since there's no direct way to connect for Siri function with bluetooth, unlike Music streaming where you launch bluetooth streaming, the car doesn't have Siri connection so it uses your car's phone dialing to establish bluetooth. You can turn this off by deselecting bluetooth to your car while connected to Siri. You would have to redo this every time you restart the car.

So my initial testing points to the new "Hey Siri" feature on the 6S phones where you don't have to physically press any button to activate Siri. It seems to trigger the car to go into Phone Mode and dial out when you start the car, even though nothing happens on the phone itself. For now, disabled Hey Siri, and everything works. Let me know if any 6s users find a fix for the issue.

Apple has had a history of security issues with Bluetooth.
