Default Another check engine light (CEL) story for is350 f sport w/ 7k miles

so unlike the other thread, I think there's a possibility that it's not engine related...yet. 2015 is350 f sport

info all that read this: engine/exhaust mods include f sport filter element and cover and joe z cat back. exhaust was installed within the first 300 miles of life time. filter element installed around 1k mark.

car started normal-no sputter or slow ignition.
drive normal- no sputter or anything out of the normal.
the one thing that makes me believe it's not an engine issue is that while I was driving, I sifted through the info/user menu and noticed the eco meter/gauge was inop. it stayed blank as I accelerated; did not go blue at all.

has anyone run into this yet? I'm going to call the dealership and schedule an appointment, but wanted to see if anyone else has been as lucky as me...haha.

good call on gas cap. it was not secure. I did secure it and ran the engine for about a min or two, but the light is still illuminated. i'll be heading out to lunch in a couple of hours and have to drive a couple of miles; i'll post an update when I return. thanks again for the input i2fat.

didn't have a chance to see if the eco gauge moves at all either...awaiting ops check.

I noticed that with the CEL the ECO gauge would not work. You may need to take it somewhere to clear the code for the CEL though.
