Default New to the Lexus world

So,

I am proud to announce that I will be part of Team Lexus!

I recently graduated college in May, started my new job right after graduation weekend, and have been working & loving it ever since.

I felt that it is only right to reward myself and buy a new car. The past few weeks have been quite an experience while test driving a Mercedes CLA250, C300, BMW 340i M-Sport & of course the Lexus IS350 F-Sport.

The F-Sport was actually my first choice to begin with, but from research, I had to check out the competitors.

And after my final decision, I have stuck with the Lexus. I should be going up to the dealership tomorrow to finalize everything and will probably bring her home after work tomorrow or Thursday!

Very excited!

congrats on all accounts! all of those cars you listed are great cars as well. but when it comes down to it, if you plan on keeping your car for the long run, you picked the best choice. all cars have their pros and cons; IMHO, this car has more pros than cons.

Congrats on graduating, the new job and your new car!
What made you choose the 350 over the 340i (if you don't mind me asking)?

A little less than 3 weeks ago, I bought an IS350. This was after I had almost decided that I was going to buy a 328i. Then I test drove the 328i and the C300 and then the IS350. (And no, I did not consider the 335i).

- The 328i is a great car to drive. No question. The turbo-torque, handling, etc is very good
- The C300 is more smooth than sporty.
- The IS350 - great handling (90% or 95% as 'fun' as the 328i)
- Somehow preferred the 6-cy NA 3500cc engine 'feel' of the power of the IS350 over the 328i
- What really clinched it for me was long term cost of ownership (maintenance, peace of mind) and reliability.

Since 2010, I own a RX350 - and have come to trust Lexus on reliability of cost of ownership (If I were inclined to, I could get it serviced at my local Toyota dealership).

Hey everyone!!!!

First off congrats on graduating school, your new job, and of course your new IS350...

I also am new to the Lexus World... Just got myself a 2014 IS350 F Sport last week. I must say that this thing is a beauty.

I loved the 340i M-Sport. I love the m-sport front end on it. It looked amazing in all black as well. But, I think what made me lean towards Lexus is the reliability & price. I also think the Fsport gauges are just amazing lol. Random, but even the 340i was cool with the HUD display on the windshield

Thank you!

My next plan for it is window tint. Other than that, I probably won't do much to it until spring time! There's so many cool features I am getting to know on it. I literally sat in my car for nearly a couple hours in my garage just playing with all the different stuff lol. So entertaining. I feel that I upgraded a lot coming from a 2002 4Runner and a crotch rocket lol.
