Default 2015 IS 250 F-Sport LF> Exhaust

So i've finally figured out my brake calipers and how to prep it. I've been having a hard time deciding on exhaust system. Don't want to go over board and buy an expensive exhaust although i've been looking at the OEM F Sport Performance exhaust and F sport intake. i'd like ot know what yalls opinion on those parts. I want to make sure that i dont get "check engine " light etc. I 've been scouring the internet and amazonand found the Tanabe one. Not looking for "loud" just something deep growling sound little bit loud exhaust and intake thank you!

If you're not confident with a named brand... you can go full custom exhaust. $2K price tag and you'll get the sound you want.
Just need to know the changes in sound with diameter increments and piping style.
IE.
Oem piping is just over 2".
A deeper tone will be anything wider. I wouldn't go more than 3" piping.
A louder tone would come from the width of resonators (OEM is 18" I believe?) Smaller for louder.

Note the difference in sound from the piping (Straight Pipe vs. Xpipe vs Hpipe)

I'll post a video of mine sometime.

But if you're worried about getting the exact exhaust note and loudness you want... go custom.
My two cents.

Default Dyno?

I have a 2015 IS 250 F Sport also. I'm wondering if anyone's done a Dyno test to show the actual WHP gains for the F Sport Exhaust and Intake? I'm thinking about getting the exhaust. I would only add the intake if it made a real difference. A lot of times aftermarket intakes are a waste for getting real WHP.

Like you said, Robertring, adding an intake/exhaust won't give you some real gains; it's mostly for looks and sound.
I wouldn't bother with those if I were you.

Trade it in for a 350 if you want more power...
