Just bought my 2014 Lexus IS 250 F Sport with Nav and Mark Levinson stereo option a few months back. Already have issues with the radio Dropping signal completely without warning. The radio power is working, but no sound on any channels. Tried to to reset, but it didn't work?

Tried it the next day, and it was back to normal. Had the same problem occur again, just out of the blue and 2 days later! The stereo just randomly chooses to stop working whenever.

I hate this #?!%? Does anyone know why this is happening?

 

Thanks for the reply! I don't subscribe to SAT radio, so it's definitely not that. There are no other objects around, except other cars when it happened. I was driving on the open road in the burbs.
Unfortunately, HD radio is not available here, so I can rule that out too.

The only problem is that the dealer has to replicate the problem to repair it. I have no clue when and how this stereo issue occurs.

 

I will take it in for an appointment. I've noticed more issues with this new IS compared to my last. A disappointed because quality is synonymous with Lexus. I bought this car to enjoy, but have been riddled with issues thus far.
