Default ARK grip cat back exhaust for AWD!

I'm happy to announce to you guys I will be the guinea pig for the ARK grip catback for the AWD 3IS. The order was placed yesterday and should be shipped out today. I will be test fitting there prototype front pipe. Still trying to gather up funds to get it installed so ARK can start producing these for the AWD community! The Exhaust is just a beautiful piece of art can't wait to update you guys soon! Feel free to donate to the install fund I do have PayPal! Lol

I spoke to Mike at ARK about this. While we couldn't make something work, I'm glad to see that you will be able to test fit it.

If I do say so myself....why do you need funds to get it "installed"? Put the car up on jackstands, get a buddy, and 2-3hrs later, its on. The empty cat they give you won't cause you any problems, and if you do have any fitment issues, loosen the exhaust further near the manifold.

Save the money and do it yourself. Asking for funds is sorta tacky....

The funds were a joke I'm sorry to see you took it so seriously. The prototype front pipe is just to check fitment. Then I'll have to modify the one for the rwd by cutting and welding which I cannot do. That's why I'll be having a shop do it.

You can leave the test pipe/gutted cat on there. Mike said it would be 6ish months until they had an actual pipe to send you after the test fit.

So you don't need to modify the rear one. That part is up to you.
