That sounds fair! You're getting more for $985 than my quote for $900!

I just had this done yesterday, I told my installer about this thread and what was being charged back east, he was shocked and quite jealous.

I just got mine done today @ Advance Auto Engineering in Cerritos, CA.
I just wanted the front bumper done, after calling around i was quoted a range of prices from 380-500 Of course i ended up going for the cheapest one (had good reviews on yelp, so i figured it was safe). Ended up adding a few things, breakdown like this: $380 front bumper (non F sport) $40 both mirrors $70 6 pc headlights (2 headlights, 2 DRL, 2 fog lights) Total: $490 + tax I went with XPEL with 10 yr warranty. I already had the port installed clear bra on the hood/fenders/rear doors which is a rip off. The Lexus clear bra is yellow in comparison to the XPEL (and even the 3M scotch guard). I asked my clear bra installer why this was, he said the OEM's always use the "old 3M stuff" which is the slightly yellow crap. Oh well, live and learn. So i could have saved a couple hundred if i had gone completely aftermarket with my clear bra AND had a better looking clear bra. Eventually i will have the OEM yellow clear bra removed and go XPEL to match the rest of the car... |
