Got quoted almost $900 for partial hood, front bumper, mirrors, & fenders. Does it sound reasonable? Film is Xpel with 10 Yr warranty

I got scheduled to get Xpel Ultimate on Bumper, Fenders, partial hood, headlights, door handle and side mirrors for $985.The job will be completed by an authorized installer that offers mobile service so he'll come out to my house and work on it.
I'm excited!!!!

That sounds fair! You're getting more for $985 than my quote for $900!

Im def. excited about it. it took some negotiation to get that price. the person originally quoted me $1095.

Not bad. I got a quote for $480 for just the front bumper!

I just had this done yesterday, I told my installer about this thread and what was being charged back east, he was shocked and quite jealous.

No doubt! He'd be making more money up here in the east!

I just got mine done today @ Advance Auto Engineering in Cerritos, CA.

I just wanted the front bumper done, after calling around i was quoted a range of prices from 380-500

Of course i ended up going for the cheapest one (had good reviews on yelp, so i figured it was safe).

Ended up adding a few things, breakdown like this:

$380 front bumper (non F sport)
$40 both mirrors
$70 6 pc headlights (2 headlights, 2 DRL, 2 fog lights)

Total: $490 + tax

I went with XPEL with 10 yr warranty.

I already had the port installed clear bra on the hood/fenders/rear doors which is a rip off. The Lexus clear bra is yellow in comparison to the XPEL (and even the 3M scotch guard). I asked my clear bra installer why this was, he said the OEM's always use the "old 3M stuff" which is the slightly yellow crap. Oh well, live and learn.

So i could have saved a couple hundred if i had gone completely aftermarket with my clear bra AND had a better looking clear bra. Eventually i will have the OEM yellow clear bra removed and go XPEL to match the rest of the car...

Not so bad deal! I was a bit hesitant about purchasing the clear bra from the dealer as I've heard so many stories and complaints. So the same week when I purchased the car, I went online and read reviews about 3M and Xpel. I was glad I didn't make the decision to purchase anything from the dealer. I'll be getting Xpel for my front bumper, hood, fenders, and headlights in the upcoming weeks (hopefully it stops snowing)
