plastic sounding rattle (exterior) when hitting bumps

anyone experiencing a plastic sounding rattle (exterior) when hitting road bumps? This noise appears to emanate from around the wheels and can only be heard when the windows are rolled down. Model is 2014 250 fsport. The car sounds cheap when this happens.

Have you checked your license plate, or plate frames? Those tend to rattle if they're not screwed in tight....

My plate is screwed in tight and still rattles. I put some silicone snubbers on it - still rattles. WTF? Never had this issue on other cars.

I had this when I first got the car. My emergency brake was loose. But it could be so many things...

If it is the parking break issue, there's a thread on this somewhere in the 3IS forum. For some reason the parking break cable was installed with slack from the factory. Engaging the parking break while the vehicle is parked for an extended period of time (overnight) seems to fix the issue. Had the same problem on mine.
