Anybody running aftermarket wheels without TPMS?
After hours of research I finally bought my winter wheels (Enkei M52 matte black) and I'm debating whether I should get TPMS or not.
A few people I know told me the TPMS light doesn't come on immediately when they start the car, but rather after approximately 50km of driving. And when you turn the car off it "resets" and turns off. This is not a consistent pattern... sometimes it turns on after only a few kilometers and sometimes it stays on until you turn the engine off for a night. But the general idea is that it doesn't come on immediately and it's not always on. Can anybody confirm for the 3IS? |

Thanks! How is it on your car? Is it as inconsistent as I described? Or did you notice a certain pattern? Certain mileage/length of driving/etc...?
