I’ve gone through 84 pages and can’t find the setup I’m looking for. I understand BS, offset etc. but I want know if anyone’s had problems with what I want to run.
I have a Fsport 2wd on Superdowns, I DO NOT want a staggered setup. Can I run a 19x8.5 with a 35 series (235/35 maybe) on all 4 corners with a +38 or + 42 and clear the Fsport calipers and Strut but not so far out that they won’t clear the quarters in back?

sup guys, so I have a 2014 IS250 f Sport and planning on putting on either a set of Gram Lights 57FXX or some Volk VR.G2 they've been sitting in my garage so quite some times now from previous cars I've had in the past and was wondering if I slap on the 57FXX will they fit. The specs for 57FXX are 19x9.5 +25 and 19x10.5 +20.
Now the Volk VR.G2's are 18x9.5 +22 and 18x10.5 +27. I also have RS-R super down springs. The lexus is my daily and my GF pretty much drives it more than I do and wondering if I was to actually run any of those wheels will they be alright to drive on the daily. Ive played with wheel specs before with other cars I've had in the past and current drift car I have at home but the IS250 is new to me and a lil foreign to it. Any input and some advice on what to do will be greatly appreciated. thanks guys and sorry for the noob questions haha

See my signature below, as I have almost the same setup. My fronts rub at full lock on the inner fender, but not a big deal. Driving it's fine.
Personally, i would go with a 245/30 if I had to do it again. For your's, I would at least get the 245/30.

Sure it will fit. What size tire do you plan on getting?

I have 'almost' the same setup. I have 20X8.5 all around with the RSR Downs.
Yours won't stick out, and here's the quick math as to why:
8.5 inches = 216mm
9 incehs = 228mm
20X8.5 +35 (mine) = from the mounting surface of the rim (against the rotor), to the outer edge of the rim is 73mm ((216mm/2) + 35=73mm)
20X9 +35 (yours) = from the mounting surface of the rim (against the rotor), to the outer edge of the rim is 79mm ((228mm/2) + 35=79mm)
So that's a difference of 6mm...that's how much more yours with be outwards beyond mine.
If you look at 6mm on a ruler it's not a whole lot...less than a 1/4 inch.

I haven't weighted them, but I will this summer before I put them on. Another member already already weighed the stock F Sport Rims (which I don't have anymore).
Since I have the 250, i feel as if the braking has changed, meaning it takes a little more pedal pressure to obtain the same stopping power with the 20s on.
It could be my imagination (lol), but maybe the rotating mass position has changed because i went from a 18 to a 20 inch rim.
I'm going to do a 350 front brake conversion on it this Spring anyways, so I'm sure that will solve any braking concerns I had...or make me imagine I've solved them (lol)
The combo of springs and wheels makes the car corner like it's on rails, but you do get more road feel, probably largely contributed to by the 235/30 tires.

Had my Vossen Work since November of last year! Finally started to install them!
Specs:
F 19x8.5 +32
R 19x10 +48
Hankook 235/35/19 Front / 275/30/19 Rear
No rubbing on the rear! Still have to finish front! I expect no rubbing issues!
