IS350 AWD here. Planning to get Niche Vosso 19" x 8.5" front, 19" x 9.5" rear, both 35 offset. 235/35R19 fronts, 265/30R19 rears. Any potential issues with rubbing on stock suspension? Vendor tells me it should be fine, but doesn't seem like a "known quantity" for them and they're probably just saying that to close a sale.

The front will be fine. The rear might be an issue. It might rub on the fender depending how much the vehicle is loaded and how big a bump you go over.
You could try with a 255/30/19 for a little more clearance. If you lower the vehicle, then it will be an issue with the 265.

Thanks. Would a +40 offset in the rear be better then to reduce the risk of rubbing?

Also what aftermarket TPMS sensor works? Found a set of 4
Mobiletron on Amazon Mobiletron on Amazon
, wondering is anyone here has had success with them.

If you could get a +40 then you can stick with the 265 tire and you'd be ok...no rubbing.

+1, I run +38 all around with 265/19/30 in the back and one side rubs every so slightly on max load 200+lbs in the back seat.
however it has been like a month since I got them and I've only rubbed about 5 times, some how it feels like each time when I rub it takes a much bigger bump or load to rub again so is there such thing as tires/wheels settling in? or perhaps I am so border line that each time it rubs, it shaves off enough tire and or paint in the fender that it no longer rubs. (when I say it rubs ever so slightly, it is literally like a hair line type of peel and the fender when it hits has bout an inch at the edges (inward) that is turning white (not even seeing metal yet)

so yes +40 would be perfect offset

Congrats on the new wheels! Looking good!
So I have to ask the obvious question, why not take the spacers out if it's rubbing on the fender? Assuming it's the rear. +42 would be a good offset to not rub.

My guess it’s the tires. Michelin has a more squared shoulder. I have 19x10 +42 but I have Continental DWS which is more rounded and I’ve never rubbed. On RSR downs.

It hasn't been a full day yet since the wheels have been put on. I'll just ride like this for a bit longer and see how tolerable it is because the fitment is very much to my liking XD the rubbing is very minimal so far anyways.

Was wondering if I could get some input on some wheels I want to get. Was thinking of getting SSR formula mesh wheels because I like the euro jdm vibes it gives off.

Front: 19 x 9.5 with an offset of 35 and a 53 mm step lip
Rear: 19 x 10 with an offset of 37 with a 78 mm step lip

Fronts will be their medium disk and rears will be the superlow disk. I'm going to be running coilovers but won't completely slam the car and I was considering upgrading my IS250 stock brakes to a Stoptech BBK in the future so was wondering if this set up will still fit the BBK as well. Here is the link to the rims with additional size options. http://www.ssr-wheels.com/wheels/fm.asp

Any input would be much appreciated (: just trying to get as much lip as possible on a static setup without rubbing. Thanks!

Just have some Enkei Raijin installed. Definitely can feel the different in acceleration due to 7lb lighter per wheel.
F: 225/40/18 x 8.5
R: 255/35/18 x 9.5

this is a bit late got the wheels early this week...

Niche Sector's 20X9.5 +35 Offset Dropped on RSR Downs

Love the fit...fills in the wheel gap nicely but if I hit a pretty good bump my back scrapes a bit where my quarter panel meets my rear bumper...

Do you guys think this setup will be fine on my 3IS lowered on RSR downs?

The fronts should be fine but the rears might rub a little over bumps with the +38 offset and 265 tire from what I’ve read from other users. With a +40 wheel you won’t have rubbing or you can run a 255 tire.

Thanks! On that note i guess i can run the stock tire specs for a little stretched look.
