I have the performance exhaust on my IS 350 AWD and I absolutely love it. Louder but not obnoxious. I had the stock muffler new and waited for a used one to pop up on ebay. I don't remember how much I paid a few years ago but it was maybe $500 and $100 for the install at the dealer.

it depends what you want out of your exhaust. it's still very civilized but has great sound. If you want something aggressive this is not what you want.
I bought the exhaust and oem fogs second hand on this website for around $1100...
