Tap wire into your brake running lights so it comes on when your lights are on.
Biggest issue is you need to drill a small hole to feed the wire, I do not want to drill into my trunk behind the emblem, these lights will fail eventually like all other aftermarket led products.
I believe there are two pegs on the back of the stock emblem, so there shouldn't be a need to drill holes. I might be mixing this up with the 2IS rear emblem though. You would probably tap into the parking light 12V wire just like the LED reflectors that iJDMtoy sells.
