Just got the IS 250 FSport...and now i need to get gas but want to make sure i can make it home first. My gauge says I have 1 mile range left, but how much do you think I really have left?

Hard to say because I have never and I wouldnt let it run in such low fuel. but what I can say is...

My 2004 RX330 was still running on 0, for awhile.

you have one mile left before the tank hits the reserve. The reserve is usually good for about 10-20 miles more or less but you should never let your car get that low. The IS has a 17.6 gallon tank but I think the gas gauge only registers about 15 gallons or so from zero. The most Ive seen registered from driving beyond the zero is about 25 miles +/- (dustabce between exits on the NYS thruway is about 22 miles more or less) and then filled up with 15.4 gallons empty to full

From my experience, you have about 2.5 gallons (~10 L) left so if your anticipated mileage is say 20 MPG, don't push it more than for 40 miles.
