Default Daytime Running Lights

Hey everyone! Does anyone know if there's any way to drive the car with only the DRL LED strips and fog lights on only? Kind of like BMW can run with the halo lights and fog lights. Is there any computer remapping I can do or any rewiring?

Wire your foglights with your DRL's

I don't have a schematic handy, but on past Toyotas I owned I used a fuse tap to keep the cigarette lighter powered when the ignition was off. I'm sure you could do the same thing with the fogs.

I know that lol. I'm scared to tap into the wiring without messing it up. It goes coiled up with a bunch of other wires

Why can't you just drive it with fog lights and parking lights on?
Is the problem that you do not want the rear lights lit at the same time?

The fog lights don't turn on unless your headlights are on as well. I want to run it with only the LED strip and the fog lights.

Yeah it shouldn't be too difficult. Just make sure you use the appropriate gauge wire depending on the fuse rating for the fog lamps.

I think what I'm actually going to do is run the fogs to a secondary switch hidden somewhere under the dash so it works with the actual light controls and when I feel like driving it with only fogs, it works with the secondary switch too. If I do it, pics will be up soon

Try finding wireing diagrams for EU cars.
In most of the Eu countries, it is illegal to drive with both headlights and fog lights on at the same time.

My car (EU model) can have the fog lights lit when only parking lights are on.
