Just a quick review of these $9 ebay LEDs. They are a direct plug and play, just make sure you have the polarity correct by testing it. I made the mistake of not checking my mirror flood light, which turned out that LED was defective. The footwell part was pretty easy, I just used tape and yank out most of the bulbs without applying too much pressure. Overall intensity of the LEDs are average at best especially the dome. I find the footwell was lit with just the right amount. I do appreciate the cooler temperature of the LEDs which does suite modern cars more, especially Ultra White.

Side note. I would probably change the dome for driver/passenger as well as the trunk lights to 10leds for more usable light ambiance. Overall these $9 ebay Leds do the job if you just want a change in color temp.

I agree about the 5 smd not being bright enough for the trunk or puddle lights under your side mirrors, but I think it's perfect for ambient lighting inside the car

What's the biggest leds/Smd that can fit in each of those slots?

You can get up to 68-smd in the T10 from the same seller. As others have said, the 5 are perfect for interior. I'm thinking of trying the 68 for side mirrors and trunk. Going to have to do some research to make sure it fits. The 5 are not bright enough for external uses.

Does this http://www.ebay.com/itm/301014756087...84.m1497.l2649 fit for all the lights? Dome light, map light, puddle light , foot light , license plate light, door light?

Yes! We're lucky enough to have the same bulb for the rear dome light.

Is there a step-by-step tutorial for this installation anywhere? looked on youtube and didn't see one specific for the 3IS. Just got the car and I'm not trying to break any clips. Thanks in advance!
