Ill work on getting pics but once you pop the panel out ou will see 4 clips that hold it to the other plastic piece. I put one piece next to the clip between the switch panel and the silver plastic. This is causing a tighter fit and adding pressure much like pushing it with your finger which was enough to stop the rattle for mine.

I ended up getting my dealer to felt everything for that and it seemed to halt that sound. Complain to the dealer. I was able to replicate it by plyaing Drake all me with the bass and treble up at around 2:00.

bringin this thread back to life i am not getting this rattle and its killing me dealer wont do anything about it and im reading this but i dont know where to put a plastic insert

nvm i just pretty much did what this guy did it works for now we will see how the elctric tape holds up

Awesome thanks guys I'm going to try that too. Noticed the rattle coming from window switches also with heavier bass.

I had this issue too on my driver's side front door. I took it into the stealership and they said this was a common issue\complaint. They ended up ordering a new switch plate and replaced it. Now, I have no more issue with rattling.

I'm having the same exact issue with the Mark Levinson set up. So far only certain frequencies causes it to rattle. Will be complaining at my 5k service.

Thank You So much for this! You have solved such a huge problem that I've been facing with my IS. I taped both the doors in case, now there's no rattle whatsoever. Great fix!
