I have about 1000 miles on my 350 F Sport AWD, and I was wondering if anyone is having a similar experience with a whining noise. When I am driving with any pressure on the gas epedal, I hear a high-pitched whine in the cabin. If I take pressure off the gas pedal, the sound stops. It comes back as soon as I touch the gas pedal. The sound seems to be coming from the rear of the car, and it happens whether the audio is on or off. Thanks.

ive heard a high pitch whistling noise on the 2IS but it happens when my audio source is AUX and it is just the way you described it...but im not sure what it is...

It's not the timing belt kind of whine is it?

Doesn't seem to be the timing belt.

Not to worry. It's just the butterfly valve making a bit of a whistling sound when it opens. Completely normal.
