Default Present for the wifey

Picked up a Ultra White/Black 2014 IS350 AWD Fsport a few weeks ago and only had time to park it in the garage since the weather is bad here locally. I've been pretty much absent from ClubLexus since I got rid of my LS430 Ultra Luxury years ago and busy with the GTR. What suspension do you guys like to run on the IS?

If you wanna keep the Sport + Mode you can go with only new springs Like RS-R Super down or RS-R Down

Here's Brueshot2's with the RS-R down springs

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...springs-5.html

If you don't bother about keeping the Sport + mode you can do the RS-R Coilovers

Niice horses in your garage there.

Check our RSR coilover suspension. Its what im running on my 3IS and love them. They also offer lowering springs to if your not looking to go with coilovers.

He has an AWD, so it doesn't have the Sport+ mode... only the 350 RWD has the Sport+, Curious as to why you didn't go with the 250 AWD. I don't get why people would want the Nu Luxe... its disgusting and embarrassing. My mom is getting an Ultra White/ Rioja 250 F-Sport AWD, and I cannot stand the excuse for "leather", I know they don't refer to it as real stuff, but Toyota's softex material is identical.

Really? The salesman told me that the 350 AWD and 250's did not come with Sport+, just the normal Sport. We can't get any 350's here, so I haven't looked.

Have you seen the Nuluxe in real life?

I prefer the Nuluxe material over the skin of a dead cow. Had it in my old S4, have it in my S2K, my parents always had leather in their Mercs, but out of all of them, I really like this material.

Yes, I have... My partner and I looked at several ES350s and 300h's with the Nu Luxe. My mom and I looked at a 250 F Sport with the Rioja... Average at best.

MerlotISF - I think people go to far when they say it's just like leather BUT since I (a former meat lover) can't rationalize eating meat anymore because of the harm it does -- I can't justify having dead meat skin on my seats. Trust me I'm no vegan kind of guy.

Also, the Nulux allows Lexus to do a new kind of foam injection method which results in a class leading seat.

"An exclusive, highly supportive sports seat design uses an 'integrated foaming' construction method, ensuring that there are no gaps between seat upholstery and foam padding to combine excellent comfort with outstanding lateral holding performance."

As a non-meat eater, I wholly agree. I no longer feel guilty getting in my car with the NuLuxe.

Plus I don't like the slippery feeling of leather anymore. NuLuxe all the way!

My best friend is a salesman at one of the local Lexus dealers here and he is a meat eater and gay as well and laughs when I tell him, I want real leather but I do not eat beef, pork or turkey... nothing besides chicken and fish. My partner does not either and I do not drink milk as it comes from cows and that is very disgusting so I choose soy milk. I don't love the NuLuxe but I could get over it... I guess I am used to the leather and suede combo in my 2013 Camry SE, leather in my Venza and the leather in my partners 2013 ES350 UL.
