Default need to disable pcs immediately !

Nearly got into my 3rd accident today because the system was triggered while i was switching lanes i was only going at 30 kph , the car applied heavy braking to a full stop without my control and the car in the back was about to ram me , i have no switch off button inside the vehicle so unless you guys know of a way to switch it off through the cpu ill have to take it to the dealership .

Let me know im getting fed up with this , might not be so lucky next time

You have a switch to disable it. It is placed under the steering wheel, at the very bottom of the trim, just above your feet.

Look it up in the user manual

i think if your having this problem you are following way too close. try leaving a little more room between you and the other cars. mine has never gone off like that.

Not my car either. It has warned sometimes, but never engaged the auto brake. Every time has been with less than 10m (30ft) between me and the car in front of me.
If you drive faster than the car in front of you, PCS will emergency brake your car. That's what's it's supposed to do. You drive with to little margin.

New thread next week: "need to replace grill and bumper"

I've only ever had the system brake and hold on me once, and that's when I was "playing" trying to activate it. I nearly rear-ended the truck in front of me and felt really stupid doing it. But at least I know how it works now.
