Default RS-R Down Springs Height Difference...Anyone Getting This???

Hey guys. So I have a height issue with my down springs. The right side of my car is about 2 to 3/8's higher then the left. I am running 275/30/19 with a 45 offset in the rear and this difference is causing a tiny bit of rubbing over big dips on the left...nothing at all on the right. I've had RS-R swap the rear springs already...they've been super cool...but it's obviously the car. I have a 1 finger gap on the right side and on the left the fender touches my finger. Is this the gas tank??? What could it be??

So if that's the case, wouldn't manufactures compensate for that so the car rides at the same height on both sides?

Just an update guys...RSR sent me a new set of rear springs, and after those settling, the ride height is almost 100% identical. Still rubbing on the drivers side though with the 275 tire.

Now that you mention it and reading your message this makes sense the whole "Lexus lean" problem lol. While my car rubbed on the 10.5 +32 wheels and 365 tires the real fender lining paint chipping was on the driver side only grrr dang it Lexus!

A 275 rear tire is super aggressive on the 3IS. Fitments are not the same as the 2IS and you can't modify the rear fenders. With a 255 there should be no issues.

I run 285s knowing good and damn well it will rub lol.

DexRox - what is the wheel width of your rear 19's? You mentioned the offset but not the width....it makes a difference in regards to "what fits".

With the Velgen's it was 19x10.5 +45 and now with the F-Sport's I went back to it's 19x9 +40

When comparing those two wheels, the F Sport wheel will be much less aggressive - the outside of your rim will be appx 14mm (.55") further inside the fender as compared to your Velgen wheels. I don't see any reason why a 275/30/19 or a 265/30/19 wouldn't work with the F Sport wheels.
