Default Popped my lexus cherry!!!

Hello fellow Lexus enthusiasts,

I posted on this forum a few weeks ago, thinking I was going to pick up my car order by Valentines Day--I opted for the IS 250 Starfire Pearl/Flaxen interior; BOY WAS I WRONG!

That day at the dealership, I saw a SEXY IS 250 F-Sport in Ultra White, and I fell in love. It was more expensive than the car I had ordered, so I thought no...I'll stick with the car I'm going to get. Fast forward to today

I walked into the dealership with the intention of signing the contract for the rebate, and I saw that SEXY car again!!!! I couldn't control the urge, and because I plan on keeping whichever brand new car I'm going to purchase for at least 10 years, I did not want to say "what if" for the next decade.

So I purchased the car!!!

Pics will follow soon, but here are the specs:

2014 IS 250 F-Sport
Ultra White Exterior/Black NuLuxe Interior
Tinted Windows all around
20" Stance SC-6IX Machine Matte Silver Wheels
Navigation Pkg
Premium Pkg
BSM

I drove 5 hours to pick up an obsidian/flaxen 350 non F-sport but after getting there, I fell in love with the 350 F-sport and drove it home instead. Like you, I'm planning to keep the car for 10+ years and I didn't want the "what if" deal to haunt me.

Please post some pics, I want to see your Stance wheels.

Congratulations on the new ride and thanks for sharing the great story

Its seems when folks get to see the grill on the F Sport in real live they're much more impressed with it than just seeing it pictures so its no surprise it was umm love at first sight haaaa !!

Also i think its a good decision on your part to choose what you really wanted especially since you're planning on keeping it for 10 years and what the heck you only live once so why not enjoy nooo ??? Pics when you have a chance !!!

Congratulations!!!

Only a part of an intelligent car buying experinece should be based on thoughtful analysis. I find so much of the pleasure of long term car ownership is emotional. Good job following your gut!!

Congrats! I am biased, because I have an ultra white IS, and I truly think that it is the best color =p.

Congrats.
Did you happen to buy the car that was sitting in the showroom at Putnam Lexus in Redwood City? Sounds a bit like it.

I'll be posting some pics soon guys--the Bay Area is getting some much need rain, and after driving another car through the rain and seeing how gnarly some of the accidents have been, I'm keeping my baby in the garage until the bad weather passes. I'm sure many of you who live in the East/Northeast have seen (on a daily basis) some TERRIBLE drivers!

No there's nothing wrong with it.
I just remember seeing it in the showroom floor when i was there also picking up my car.
Hope you got it for a good price. The sticker markups was alittle shocking IMHO for all the addons they did.

We'll meet soon at a meet sometime in the future.

Yes we will! I'm not going to go into what happened with one of my wheels the last few days, but the ppl they outsource with (not gonna put them on blast) effed up.

Anywho! Yes, I talked them down 7k from the ridiculous price you saw
